I recently photographed and event in the SSE SWALES stadium in Cardiff.
Being a bit of a technology geek I could not help but have a peek at the equipment that Duke AV
With some lovely reflective light backlighting the equipment they were using, I couldn’t help myself, I had to take a photo.
I’ve added an image of the stage setup so you can see what they do.
I bought my wife a driving experience as a present at Llandow Circuit from The Experience Mega Store.
It was a great day out and very organised, needless to say, my wife absolutely loved it. I also thoroughly enjoyed it taking photos of all the lovely cars.
Highly recommend giving it a go if you are a bit of a petrol head.
I have had the pleasure of photographing the BAVO awards again this year.
BAVO’s Volunteer Achievement Awards are designed to recognise and honour
outstanding people and organisations that have made a significant contribution to our
community during the past year.
The awards were held at the Heronstone Hotel and compèred by Bridge FM DJ, Lee Jukes.
The event was very well attended with guests including Bridgend councillors, mayors and AM Huw Irranca-Davies sporting his Movember growth.
Everyone that attended the awards were entertained by the Tenovus Cancer Care choir, who deservedly received rapturous from every person in the room.

Today I was working in my home town of Bridgend. It was a PR shoot for BAVO (Bridgend Association of Voluntary Organisations).
BAVO are an umbrella organisation set up to develop and promote voluntary and community action throughout the county borough.
I have worked for BAVO on a number of occasions, this time Carwyn Jones was opening their new volunteer centre on Queen Street in Bridgend.
Rather than posting one of the images I have taken, I was snapped while I was working, so here is my best side 🙂
Being a photographer can be very hard work at times, yesterday saw me at an 8 hour shoot with barely a break all day. But at the same time it can be so much fun.
I was at Cardiff City Stadium photographing Wales & West conference. The most interesting conference I have shot to date. The theme was world travel with loads of people arriving in fancy dress and the venue staged to look like an airport.
The winners of the best group fancy dress went to this pilot and cabin crew, had to as for a sneaky photo together for my blog.
If you were wondering I don’t normally dress like that on assignments, I was asked if I’d like to come in fancy dress too so I came as a tourist, complete with two cameras.
Paid a visit to the Blue Birds stadium today for a recce before I photograph a corporate event in Cardiff at the end of the month.
It’s the second time I have been pitch side for a shoot. I think they need to step up security in the stadium though, it looks like someone has stolen the pitch.
Very much looking forward to this one, all the staff at the event go in fancy dress. Sounds like a real fun day.
I was asked to cover the conference of Cambria Maintainance. After a rainy trip down to Builth Wells show ground, I was met with lovely hospitality and as much coffee as I could drink. This picture shows a team excersice involving paper planes. Looked great fun and i wanted to join in. Thanks very much to Cambria Maintainance and Wales & West Housing.
