A friend of mine from Basingstoke, Spencer of Spencer Phillips Photography kindly brought me some beer down when he came to visit. As a thank you I showed him how I would photograph the bottle.
I used a couple of different lighting techniques to light the bottle to show the stunning colour inside the bottle and bring the label to life.
The beer was made by Andwell Brewing Company, an award-winning brewery based in a former trout smoke house in the idyllic riverside hamlet of Andwell in Hampshire.
They are committed to using the finest ingredients and combine best floor-malted English Maris Otter barley with chalk aquifer-percolated water, rich in natural ions and goodness to create our Mash. Once in the kettle, we add carefully selected hop varieties chosen for their distinctive aroma and bittering qualities.
I think I got as much enjoyment out of shooting it as I did drinking it, a very tasty brew indeed.
